Final Coil Announce Co-Headline Tour With Lodestar (Feat. Members Of Senser)
In January / February 2025, legendary experimental prog rockers Lodestar have teamed up with fast rising post-metallers Final Coil for a co-headline tour.
Formed in 1996 by Senser members Heitham Al-Sayed and John Morgan, alongside Senser sound engineer Alan “Lord Hagos” Haggerty, Lodestar rose to prominence with their debut album, touring the UK and Europe, including a high-profile support slot with Tool. Following a lengthy hiatus, the band returned to action in 2024 after a 28-year absence, releasing the acclaimed Zonen and playing a handful of dates, including Desertfest.
Watch Lodestar’s Bring Me the Head now:
Established in 2008, Final Coil first made their mark with 2017’s Persistence of Memory, which was released via international label WormHoleDeath. The band released the acclaimed follow up, The World We Left Behind For Others, in 2019, which earned them slots at HRH Metal, as well as Fusion – Music Without Boundaries festival, where the band played the album in its entirety. Later, they opened for punk rock legends Shonen Knife at The underworld and Marky Ramone at The Garage. They returned in 2024 with the Russ Russell produced The World We Inherited, released via Sliptrick Records. The album not only earned them a coveted slot at Bloodstock Festival, but also propelled them to European stages, including a sold-out headline show at Paris’ famed Supersonic nightclub with Vestige and Desertfest regulars Homecoming. With 8 album of the year accolades so far, The World We Inherited is the band’s most successful effort yet, and these are the final dates in support before Final Coil return to the studio to produce its much-anticipated follow up.

Joining Final Coil and Lodestar for these very special dates are Teiger and The River.
Teiger released their astonishing debut in 2023. Recorded and mixed by Mike Bew (Porcupine Tree, Dresden Dolls) and mastered by David Castillo (Opeth, Leprous, Katatonia), it propelled the band to stages across the UK, and garnered award nominations from HRH (best New Act) and Radio Wigwam (Best Indie Rock Act). The band are currently working on a follow-up.
Incorporating space & subtlety, melody & reflection, The River mix fragile vocals over down tempo rhythms & a dense ebb & flow of guitar to create a bittersweet & wistful sound. With influences ranging from Anathema to Low, The River are indefinably wonderful and have gathered a fiercely loyal following with their beautifully crafted music.
The tour starts in Leicester on Jan 31st, at Firebug, and concludes on February 8th at The Black Heart in Camden. Tickets are available now for just £8.00 via the links below.
